    Hi Paul

I am not a better player and my balls go to the right. I dont think I am hanging back but am coming from inside out. I think my bath with the club going back is going inside which is why it comes through and the balls go right. I have a problem with coiling back correctly though I am very flexible. Should I still do ths drill or not? My mind needs a check to see if I am coiling back correctly is there one that you can suggest? I have paid for a lesson and will send a video when I go to play today.

    Best Regards
    Naz

    Hi Paul,
Had a great day at Timucuana yesterday. Fantastic visit and the course was in good shape. BUT I had to scramble out o pine straw lies all day, mostly pushing approach shots 15-20 yards right and feeling a little fat on those shots (but the divots are on). What I like in those shots is my Move down down (straighten the Left leg) and my finish position (touch head touch legs)). Went through some videos this morning and I can hear you mentioning several things to work on this, including SEEING THE GOOD in the pushes, re: that you are using the body, just possible too fast.

I want to believe this is where I am, and just need to get the roll over going earlier/ keeping wrists looser. But this vid, re feeling OTP confuses me (scares me!) on that cure idea. Seems like I’ve been working really hard with the UST and on the range not to come OTP. So how do you know if the cure is A: rolling over earlier or B: feeling like you are coming OTP?

    Thanks! -Craig

      Carig,

I you are rolling you would come over the top because you are starting and thinking about arms. You do the drill to unlock the wrists. Then you straighten it out with body. Maybe you missed this tip:

      Modified Roll Over Drill: https://ignitiongolf.com/modified-roll-over-drill/

So after the first push you would have been rolling it to unlock your wrists before the next shot. Once you do the roll over in practice swings a few times you should have the loser feeling. Then you step up to your next shot feeling the legs and hips. If they move first in the downswing and you release it you would hit it dead straight. So have the drill above in your pocket. Any and every time you see any slice spin you start rolling it but you don’t think roll as you hit your shot or you will hook it. You need to be thinking body as you hit the ball.

Nice track. Don’t think I have the chance to play it but it went out there back in the day.
