    Paul-

First off, you are the best of internet golf instruction. Period. I was one of those guys hitting the driver 84 mph and thought I was really hammering it until I found you. Have a launch monitor at home, and in 4 months of work, have increased my driver speed to 110 coiling… uncoiling.

My current bad shot is a “mushy” feeling in my long irons 3,4,5 …. it feels like my left wrist is collapsing or something and I am not getting a crisp strike. Maybe my right had is overtaking and the result is like getting jammed on an inside pitch. How can I avoid this shot? Takes 30 yards off.

I am almost where I want to be…. Help.

      Jim,

Thank you for the kind words. I truly appreciate it.

Not sure what you mean by “mushy.” Could be slightly fat or hitting with arms. They are longer shots with longer clubs so you may be trying to hit. If you are hitting you are not using the legs. I the tip below I explain how to hit long irons. Maybe it will help:

  2. Hi Paul. Just wondering what the problem is with a club layed off? Trying to get rid of this from the last swing analysis and just curious why that is a problem.

    Thanks
