  1. As I have said often, repetition is a way of reminding your students those little things that have not yet become fully ingrained. But instead of just repeating a tip you did in the past you are repeating the lesson with a different twist – with an actual student. I like it. I am one of those golfers who needs these simple, but basic reminders.

I agree! Keep up the good work Paul. I would also love to see a video of a students swing before you gave him or her lessons and then after you have worked with him or her for a while so that we can compare

    • Rod,

That’s great. Thanks. I will do some more. The issue has been people not wanting to do it and no camera person to shoot it.

  3. Hi Paul

Thank you for this reminder on the ball position but so important in the set up for me

    One question
In the narrowest stance, another check point is that the ball in just above the sternum ?

    Could you confirm that? Thanks

    • Didier,

You don’t even have to think like that. Narrow stance and 2 balls inside the heel. That’s it. I never think sternum.

  4. Hi Paul,

Thanks so much for your dedication to helping with the game… really enjoying your teachings.
Is there a list of the 16 items to check in your setup? Sorry, I may have missed it…

    Cheers,
    John

    Hi Paul,
In the set up is there any other consideration if you are a tall guy. I’m 6’4″ and feel that I may be bending over too far. Your thoughts appreciated. Regs John

      John,

I never have a problem getting taller people to do my setup. They have to stop bending over though plus you should have longer clubs that are bent more upright. You need to learn the setup first then get fitting if you haven’t done so already. If you need me to check it do a setup with a 7 iron and take a picture from the down the line and email it to me.
