Paul ,I have a “hands ” thought to submit to you :in his ancient book(1984) “Golf Secrets Exposed ,”Wild Bill Melhorn ” (a 1920 great player )says you should hold the handle of the club mainly with the index and thumb of the hands ,letting the back fingers as loose as possible .I tried this ,clocking the swing speed on the radar .I did get several miles more .It’s not that easy to acheive though .What do you think of this advice ?

      Raymond,

Not sure about that. Seems insecure to me. Not sure how you can even hold on the club this way.

Paul, I am just an new member since last week.
I start with golf 4, 5 years ago and reached today a HC of 16.
I am 56 (84 kg) but very sport oriented in the past and actual.
Now I am suffering with my strong arms and sholders that are over the top of my swing.
Could you please list me a few drills in a constructive to do list(1-2-3) to address the mistake with my strong arms?
    Thanks
