    Paul,

I now know how Thomas Edison felt when he succeeded with the light bulb. While I am still in the changing over from hitting to swinging loose the results are, well, just short of amazing. My iron distanced have increased a full 20-23 yards, I am regularly taking proper divots and really compressing the ball….The strike quality is remarkably difference. Instead of a loopy 135 9iron its now a 156 penetrating 9 iron…..And the ball just cuts right through the wind. Eureka!!! This is how we are meant to swing the club!

Yesterday I hit a 8 from 179 pin 161 front (10 ft for bird!!)…. I never in my life ever thought that was possible.!! All of this with very little effort…unlike the gorilla arms swing from before.

Well as with all new things I am still struggling with the hit impulse with the driver and a few thin/top shots but the swing is coming!!

I probably should search the site but do you have any videos or recommendations on how to keep the swing and tempo feel for an entire round and with all clubs?

I finally feel as I am on the journey to lower scores.

    Again thanks !!!!!

Hi Paul – This is the tip that made me sign up as a member.

I range between a 3-5 handicap. I tried this tip about a year ago when I found it and played some of the best golf of my life. Then somehow the swing left me and I forgot about it until I came across it recently before a trip to Palm Springs. I watched the tip again and tried it and played two phenomenal rounds where I could’t miss with driver, woods or irons.

On the third day I was really excited but my swing just left me on the 3rd hole and I was starting to hit pulls and then I sliced a drive and then doubt just creeped in. Then I didn’t know what to do because I wasn’t sure if I would hit a pull or a slice or a straight shot.

It was so frustrating. I was playing so well and then it was like I couldn’t play at all.

I read your other tips about getting tired and then how to correctly fix coming over the top (which I am guessing is what was happening). I am going to work on your tips for using the lower body and the tip for changing the spin on the ball by having the hands turn over so the club head passes first and then the hands with thumbs pointing toward target follow. All of this while keeping the wrists loose and arms turned off.

    Are these the correct thoughts?

If I could get my swing like those first few days then I know I can become scratch in no time.

    Steve
