    Hi Paul,

What is your grip pressure at that point? I believe you said it should be 2 at address, but when you get 1.5 feet in the takeaway, is the pressure starting to increase and what is the highest grip pressure you have at the finish of the takeaway? Thanks.

      Michael,

Well, it was just at 2 out of 10. I moved the club back with my shoulders about 1.5 feet so it would still be close if not still at 2 out of 10. If anything the pressure increase would be unnoticeable at this point. Maybe just a little tighter. Highest pressure 2.5 out of 10.

Very good reminder of one of the “fundamentals “.
Obviously you are in the beginning of the backswing ,not at address .
I saw a video, based on MOE NORMAN’s teaching where he advocated to have the clubhead back at address by the distance you show in this video :this to better “compress “the ball coming down in the downswing .I can’t see the point in doing so .Has this tip I saw some merit ?
I came across by chance on video lessons by CARL LOHREN (His book” ONE MOVE TO BETTER GOLF “).Your teaching method is very similar to his :for example in this present takeaway lesson he says like you to move the left shoulder back first.
There are some considerations on how you hold your hands postioned naturally when they hang by your sides and the way you grip your club handle which are interesting .
Obviously we are not all built the same way and this has consequences on the way we swing

      Raymond,

I already did the grip and setup.

I think he was pre-setting his weight on the right foot. There was only 1 Moe. He hit over 4 million balls with that golf swing. So unless there are others I will not teach it. I think Byron Nelson could have beat him.
