How do you stop from Making the mental error of having your arms fire first instead of your lower body it seems much easier when you’re doing a full swing and the spring is totally set all the way. When you’re doing a pitch shot here only halfway turned and it seems much easier to make that mistake any good ideas on how to stop making the brain from wanting to swing the upper body first

It’s surprising to see That amateur GOLFERS have each a différent routine ,or nô routine at all ,when you look at what THE top champion pro’s do IN THE major tournaments :THE pro’s have all ,more or less ,THE same routine and they set up to THE ball IN approxomately THE same Time .THE routine incorporates also THE mental side ,THE visualization and THE ” small tallk ” you givre to yourself before starting THE swing .

      Raymond,

They either have a different routine or they do not care about their routine. Hopefully, everyone here will develop one.

Paul ,I don’t know what you Will respond to Mr Bruce JESPERSEN IN his question above ,bur as for me every thing starts simultaneously ,lower body ,upper body ,Arms ,hips :when I am at THE top OF m’y backswing ,and I am assured I’m there ( there’s a pause in my mind ,REAL or not ,I don’t quite know ),all I do is to” fire” Arms and hips simultaneously ,making sure m’y left hip MOVES forward and turns .
