Look at it with your dominant eye so it is directly overtop of the clubshaft. I was looking at it with my right eye.

If someone is trying to fix your shots with ball position and you are not a low handicap golfer they are putting band aid on the problem. I’m glad you are making the necessary swing changes. It will pay off even more in the future as you keep working on it.

Paul ,I’m puzzled with this tip :I was taught to have the ball a distance of One ball inside the left Heel ,then move the back foot More or les s depending on the club I use :More wide stance for long irons and fairway Woods ,shorter stance for mid and short irons .this seems to work with your tip for ball position ,opposite right eye ,then move the right foot .
Is this correct or not correct ?

    Hi Paul,

I am very happy with your tips. It helps me a lot.
I just watched your tip on checking the ball position.
But…did you aver did a tip on ball positions in general. It seems that many people, including trainers, heve different opinions abot what is the right position for which club.

    with best regards,

What is the ball position if you use single length clubs 5 iron thru gap wedge?

    • Mary,

I liked to play it a ball or two inside the left foot. Just try 1 ball then 2 balls and see which you like. The whole idea is consistency.
